Lego Star Wars II

May 25, 2007

Quite a cute little game, Lego Star Wars combines two of my favourite childhood memories - ‘Star Wars’ and Lego.

They really knew what they were doing when they formulated that combo!

The missions all resemble scenarios from the Star Wars trilogy, and you can do the classic Death Star run.

Interface is standard but very playable.  The 3D models are excellent and are exact replicas of your favourite Lego people.  There are a few problems with dodgy angles when trying to jump gaps perfectly and I have heard that the AI goes crazy and friendly characters may shoot you.

Multi player option is built in too which is excellent, as being an adventure game there was no need to include this.

A great play, if you can put up with the bugs.

Platinum Sudoku

May 15, 2007

Platinum Sudoku from Ubisoft is by far the best Sudoku game available (except Big Brain Academy) for the NDS

Firstly,  a nice feature is you ‘draw’ the numbers into the grid with the stylus.  It also comes packed with features such as 2 -player, solver mode (solves Soduko puzzles for you) and a custom mode where you can create your own puzzles.

Built in puzzles gone on for miles and miles and should keep Sudoku fans happy for weeks/months.
