Shrek The Third

Shrek The 3rd is a reasonable attempt at a film tie-in game.

Some really nice features include being able to choose from different characters to use in the game.  Donkey also reads aloud parts of the story.  Very nice.

Some downsides include the same puzzles and enemies are the same throughout the game and multi player requires 2 Shrek games.

This game is mostly a puzzle per level and aimed primarily at Shrek fans.  Eddie Murphy does the voice overs as usual and is excellent.

Meteos : Disney Magic

Leading on from the successful Meteos game, Meteos Disney Magic is a nice twist on an existing popular puzzle game.

 

Some changes to Meteos means blocks can be moved horizontally and vertically.  As you progress, Disney artwork is unlocked.

It is fair to say the game is difficult and questions what market is it aimed at - young kids or older teenage gamers?
