PC crashed - data recovery disaster

Woke up to find my PC dead to the world.  Bummer.  After checking the bootup sequence, turned out my boot drive was out for the count.

I had a lot of important emails etc. on the PC so decided to try to boot off a clean hard drive - no joy, the main hard drive looked like it had totally failed.  Data recovery was a no-go as my FAT wasn’t the problem.

Contacted a few companies and sent my hard drive to 123 Data Recovery - 3 days later, all my data was returned to me on DVDs.  Great data recovery service, totally stress free.  In fact the data recovery technician could tell me 100% of my data was recoverable BEFORE I sent them the hard drive.  Amazing.
